WORK HISTORY

Since 1974 we have undertaken many projects include the fabrication and installation of sewerage treatment settling tanks, aeration and screening equipment used in sewerage treatment plants. We have designed and constructed back rake screens for various local sewerage treatment plants.

Another project that is worth mentioning is the fabrication of a wide carriage mock aircraft disaster training facility for Cape Town International Airport.
We have performed many trailer and axle modifications for abnormal load trailers.
We also won the tender for the design, manufacture and installation of a canal lock and rail lift bridge that formed part of a multi-million rand shopping complex linked to a well- known theme park in Cape Town.

We were also awarded a contract for the design, manufacture and installation of a hydraulic lift draw road bridge. That when operated allows boats and yachts to access their mooring stations with minimal disruption to the traffic.

We have undertaken and completed many projects for the S.A. Department of Water Affairs over the past fifteen years.
We have also completed the second phase of a large project for Rand Water at the Vaal Barrage. The project consisted of the design and fabrication of two coffer dams and three emergency sluice gates that will be used in an emergency or to perform maintenance at the barrage.

Our quality workmanship is also featured on the well-known landmark of Table Mountain, where we were awarded the contract by the City of Cape Town to install approximately 700 meters of stainless steel hand railing at the Hely-hutchinson dam on top of the mountain.

Further to the above, we designed, manufactured, installed and commissioned a Water Lock System that allows residents of the prestigious “Islands Estate” on the banks of the southern side of Hartbeespoort Dam, to move via watercraft between their residence and the dam without exiting their watercraft.

FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS

With the high standard of quality and long term goals we have set ourselves, we expect our future to be a prosperous one. The combination of young enthusiastic staff and the more experienced staff working together will ensure continuity of the company.

We are also continuously considering opportunities to develop new products that will be useful to our agents and customers.
We regularly communicate with our product agents and have established a long term relationship with them over the years.
