Hydraulic Equipment

  • Brick Handling Grab
    We have been manufacturing our famous “CONSANI BRICK GRAB” since 1984 and we currently have almost 2000 units still working in brick yards and brick delivery around South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe as well as some units in Indonesia and Australia.
  • Clamshell and Forrester Buckets
    Light weight construction. Bucket opens wide to take a large bite and thereby fills quickly to full capacity. Replaceable wear resistant steel cutting edges. Pivots have long life, replaceable bushes and are equipped with grease nipples.
  • Roof Tile Handlers and manipulators
    Sturdy steel construction for safe handling of tiles by polyurethane grips. Full range of spares available off the shelf. Replaceable polyurethane grips available. Fully adjustable to suit wide range of tiles.
  • Pipe and Pole handlers and manipulators
    Built to handle some of the largest hydraulic cylinders, this mechanical device allows operators and technicians to handle oversize cylinders with relative ease and in total safety. These units are an essential tool in the maintenance of open cast mining equipment such as the Komatsu and Mitsubishi face shovels.

Our brick-handling grab was awarded the prestigious Shell Design Award in 1984.

We are also the manufacturers of dry lime feeders and weir plate clamps as stock items. A lightweight, collapsible blood donor chair is also part our product range, and has proven to be of a product that can compete with the international options most favourably.

All our products are manufactured in accordance to the ISO 9001:2015 requirements and all carry guarantees. A full range of spares for these products are kept in stock.

THE MANUFACTURING PLANT

The manufacturing plant is situated in Triangle Farm, Bellville. The total floor area is approximately 1500m2. This comprises of the administration offices, stores, fabrication shop and machine shop. The main entrance to the fabrication shop is a 6m by 6m door. This along with overhead cranes with a total lifting capacity of 16 tons is conducive to the manufacture of large fabrications.

MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT

Our long inventory of machines is an important asset to our business. This inventory gives us an edge over our competitors as less outsourcing is required, making us more versatile and competitive. Our inventory list includes the following machines:

CNC lathe and milling machines, manual milling machines, lathes, surface grinder, guillotine, 400 Ton CNC bending brake, presses, TIG, MIG, and arc welding plants, plate rollers, drill presses, radial arm drills, plasma cutter, profile cutter and mechanical saws.
